There is a broken curb above the Staples Plaza near the Goodwill side of the plaza. It has been like this over 2 weeks and getting worse. I feel some people have run in to it because it is more out in the driveway with more broken pieces. Someone might get hurt especially at night when going shopping. It is between North Colony Rd and Main St. There is a large sign on the N Colony Rd side that says "Staples Plaza" at the bottom of the sign it says there is space and the number to call is -1-800-998-3440. I called the number, I wanted to report the curb and when I called recorded voice says "We're sorry the number you dialed cannot be reached from your area". So I don't know who to contact.

I was in the area today saw the curb is not fixed. The stones were spread out in the roadway and I called the police to file a complaint. A policeman came. He was very nice and he moved the stones off the driveway part. He said they do not have any authority over private property. He told me to get the number from one of the stores. I said the Wallingford Police Dept must have a number for this plaza in case there is an emergency and even though it is private property the PD still have to consider safety.He said he would talk to the dispatcher about a contact number for the plaza..The picture I am uploading was before he moved the stones back.

I was in the area and got another number for the plaza off a different sign. I called New England Retail Properties at 860-529-9000. I told the receptionist the problem and she said she would give the message to the person in charge of the property to call me back. That was yesterday. No one called back. Today I was at the plaza again and I took more pictures I emailed the information to 3 people at the New England Retail Properies plus pictures I took on 7-12 and 7-17I have new pictures today 7-20 It is a little neater because the policeman pushed the stone back on 7-17.

Went to my favorite store in the plaza and the curb is still crumbled and not fixed. I spoke with one of the store managers and he is going to call his corporate office about the curb.

I did receive an email back from someone at New England Retail Properties who was forwarding my email with this link to the person that can do something about it. Hopefully they will fix the curb.

The curb is not fixed but I am happy to say the broken curb stones that were in the driveway were removed. I don't know who did it or responded to my request. I believe a man from New England Retail Properties that emailed me back said he was sending an email to the person in charge. I notice the copy went to someone named Joe Cato. So in a few days I will close this issue. Thanks SeeClickfix I had also sent your link in the email with the pictures.

I was at the plaza yesterday and I saw large tire tracks were in the sand/grass area where the stone curb was. I am kind of disappointed to see the heavy tracks. It makes me think that someone is careless and would have hit the broken curb stones again and I am glad they were removed. Joe DeCato the man my email was sent a copy too is the one I think should be contacted if anything happens in the plaza. Joe DeCato joe@banyanus.com. I will close this fixit for now.
