Hey,
Is a permit required when replacing a bathroom fixture or a water heater? If so, it’s a very well kept secret! HOA’s, home improvement stores, or licensed contractors/plumbers never even mention it.

Also, the person who reported the incident could have informed their “neighbor” or reported the violation to the Reflections building management &/or HOA.

I believe this is may be more of a problem regarding communities of single family homes, where there are little to no regulations, and minor issues easily become major problems.

The owner of the property is a landlord who did not monitor the condition of their property. The renter that just moved out was a hoarder. There were 4 big dump truck loads of junk hauled it. The A/C did not work. There was no hot water because the hot water heater was completely rusted out. The lower level walls were covered in mold from the flooding. The fence needed replacing. The trees in the courtyard are growing on to the roof.
So tell me what you would do if you had to look out your window and doors at this every day. We will not sit by idly and allow slumlords to ruin our property values in our community.
