  Thank you for taking the time to report a pothole or other needed street repair to the City of Oakland Department of Transportation, or OakDOT. Our next step with your request will be to review it and assign it a priority level so that we can respond as promptly and appropriately as we can to the thousands of requests we receive each year.
  Your input into this process is critical, as we count on our community to be our eyes and ears as new issues arise or existing issues change. OAK311 is our one-stop shop for public maintenance requests, and it’s the best method we have for logging, tracking, and prioritizing requests like yours.
  We’d like also to take this opportunity to share some information with you about how we’re taking on the bigger task of improving all Oakland streets – including full pavement rehabilitation. Oakland’s streets are prioritized for full rehabilitation or preventative maintenance treatments through our 2022 5-Year Paving Plan, funded by Measure KK and Measure U, Oakland’s Affordable Housing & Infrastructure Bonds.
