"Cross traffic does not stop" signs are needed on Genoa St in both the north and southbound directions as it crosses 59th, as well as in the northbound direction where it crosses 60th. At all other intersections Genoa either has no stop, or is part of a four way stop, so the two mentioned above need to be given extra signage to minimize conflicts.

I was contacted by city staff who explained that it is not their policy to install legal "cross traffic does not stop" signs, although Berkeley does this consistently on bikeways with no negative effect on traffic safety.
Since I am still getting regularly cut off at these intersections and Oakland's response to the issue is to do nothing then I am considering it unresolved and reopening the report.
