That was supposed to end in early September. Now what? The fire hydrant is buried and not visible from the street. Please mow this property and clear the hoarded rat mess in the back, too.

    This Enterprise Car Rental Office is responsible for the property adjacent to the entrance to 30700 US Hwy 19 N (Frontier Mobile Home Park) Enterprise installed irrigation and 6 Palms about 4 or 5 years ago in this northernmost edge of their property. Three immediately died and have been laying on their side since. Weeds and trash from their customers cleaning out their trunks is always present. I visited their manager and ha denied responsibility and said it was an operations issue, he asked me to send an email. I did approx. one month ago and I sent
    a second one about two weeks ago. Please help us with this eyesore.

    There are 15 chickens and a rooster in the yard. The cage backs up to the adjoining fence line. According the the Pinellas county ordinance, the limit of chickens is 6(six) and no roosters. Plus the ordinance clearly stays no roosters. The rooster makes on going noise at all hours of the day. It’s brought rats, bugs, possums and an unbelievable smell in the area. The dogs that surround the properties have barked or attacked the fences. The neighbors behind the residence allowed us access for the photographs attached. Code Enforcement Officer Hughes officially heard the rooster while in the area and then once shown where is was coming from, verified the rooster and chickens in the rear of the mentioned property.

    The fence that is is owned and on the Strathmore Gate East Multi-family housing complex. It no longer meets the Fence Code Intent. Fence is rotten and needs repair/replacement in numerous locations. It fails to provide proper screening, privacy and protection. Contact with the Strathmore Gate East HOA failed to to get a response.

    We hear a ROOSTER every day all hours of the day. I beg the County to stop this.
    The rodents, possums and mosquitoes are out of control now with this chicken coop and Rooster in the back yard.

    Sec. 138-3351. - Backyard chickens.
    (a) Purpose. The purpose of this section to is allow chickens within some urban residential neighborhoods while limiting the intensity and potential impact on neighboring properties. (b) Applicability. The provisions of this section shall apply to the keeping of chickens on properties in the R-1 through R-5 and RPD zoning districts. (c) Standards. (1) General conditions for the keeping of chickens in the R-1 through R-5 and RPD zoning districts. a. For the purposes of this section of the Code, the term "chicken" refers to female chickens only (i.e., hens). b. Up to four chickens may be kept within an occupied single-family property located in the R-1, R-2, R-3, R-4, R-5 and RPD zoning districts. Chickens may be kept within manufactured home subdivisions, but not on duplex, triplex or multifamily properties, or within mobile home/manufactured home parks. c. Chickens must be kept within a coop or fence enclosure. d. Ducks, geese, turkeys, peafowl, adult male chickens/roosters, or any other poultry or fowl are not allowed under the provisions of this section of the Code.
