  • Pedestrian Signal - Broken/Damaged Được thừa nhận

The pedestrian crossing signal at the intersection of Keith Ave and Broadway has been broken for a few months. It is the Keith Ave crossing signal, not the Broadway crossing signal. The control button seems jammed, it doesn't do anything when you press it. This is a school crossing area.

The crosswalk at this school crossing needs repainting, blinking pedestrian crossing lights installed. Cars routinely speed through this crosswalk when children are present in it, attempting to cross the street en route to school. The street has one driving lane and one bike only lane. The driving lane is currently blocked by a large pothole and a line of cones. Cars are using the biking lane as a driving lane to avoid the cones and pothole. Parked cars on the street block visibility between the drivers in the bike lane and children entering the crosswalk.

Large pothole in the street, previously reported by several people, now has cones placed along the lane before and after the pothole. This is causing cars to drive in the bike lane for this length of Keith Ave, causing a dangerous situation for bikers and residents. As you can see in the photo, the white car in the bike lane is approaching a crosswalk that is used by school children for school crossing. The cars driving in the bike lane cannot see children entering the crosswalk through the cars parked on the street. I live across the street from the pothole and am also having trouble seeing cars coming in the bike lane when I try to pull out of my driveway. The cones are getting knocked over and aren't really blocking the pothole anymore, they are strewn along the street. Please come and fix the pothole and remove the cones before a kid gets killed crossing the street by the drivers racing along in the bike lane. It would also help to paint the crosswalk brighter and install a blinking crosswalk light. Cars drive way too fast on this residential street, treat the bike only lane as a second car lane, and don't seem to even notice there is a crosswalk there, despite the signage.
