After months, the intersection of 8th and Chester is still dangerous. Today this car was doing donuts and according to Citizen witness hit the light pole and exploded. Church was in session mere feet from this explosion. It's a miracle no one was killed.

We have been asking for, demanding, concrete traffic diverters at this intersection to prevent sideshows and reckless driving. While we are grateful for the promised CIP funds for permanent calming, it's clear lives are at risk every day we wait for city action.

Please fulfill your duty to us as residents and take action to make our street safe.
