When is something going to be done about this intersection? This is a complete disaster and something in the center needs to be added immediately. I am tired of getting in near car accidents because people do not abide by the new turn lane. Cops would be grand but this is a sure way to ensure that the law is abided. You can use those construction dividers until something more permanent can be added.

How about the turn only lane on Whalley in front of the old Tommy K's. I have watched Police Officers witness people go straight and cause near accidents dozens of times. I asked one officer why he didin't do anything and he replied "What am I supposed to do" YOUR JOB came to mind.
If the cops don't care then whats the point of the sign and street markings-maybe when someone is killed while making an illegal lane change or when construction is complete in 2012, whichever comes first!!!
