its is not a "fire exit" those doors have been chained because they have been broken for a long time, also they are doing work on that side , so having people walk through constuction doesnt make much sence does it... the doors by shoppers are not much farther ... PLUS every store in that mall has its own fire exit ! winners has 2! just sayin

I did read your post, thinker, and you mentioned that you contacted them. If you didn't put it in writing, then it may have been only cursorily checked.

Ah, okay, blondie. I didn't know about the construction. I don't shop at Winners, so I normally go down that section of the SH Mall.

Those doors are not fire exits. There are plenty of fire exits They are chained to stop Prince Albert thieves from making a quick exit. Is thats whats bothering you?

I agree they should take down the exit sign if it is not a exit, BUT the mall is dead anyhow, chances of trapping anyone othe than in Safeway, Shoppers or the movie's is slim.

they ARE fire exits as designate by a SIGN

they are chained because they are broken, and the Mall refuses to fix them

they are NOT chained to stop theft, if that was the case ALL the doors would be chained

If that exit is no longer deemed to be necessary as a fire exit, then REMOVE THE SIGNS

still signed as an exit

still quiet in the mall

well, they finally got some doors in and the Emergency Escape is accessable again! only took a couple years!
