Yes, for whatever reason, people tend to think that site is either a "dump" or a place to park tractor-trailers overnight. Neither of these are acceptable, and there should be a way to enforce this. Maybe having the City install a small sign indicating "no dumping" and "no parking" would help?? Of course, for anyone to pay attention, there would have to be a fine posted.
I have lived in Hedingham for 15 years, and if there's anything less attractive at the entrance to your community than a pile of trash or a dirty 18-wheeler, I'm not sure what that would be...
A nasty, old mattress at your front entrance in the neighbors yard for months on end is worse that a tractor trailer. No one in Foxcroft would do anything about our trailer, so we called the trailer company. The company had it gone in a few days since it was a lost repo.
I noticed that a gate was installed to the powerline entrance to help thart the dumping. Sad but right next to the new fence someone dumped a dresser just behind the trees.
