Next to 501 Mountain Gap Road there is an old utility pole next to a new one. The old one has an "X" spray painted on it and also red tape around it. Is this pole going to be removed? It's an eyesore in its current condition. See photo. Thanks!

In eastbound lane where fatal car accident occurred several weeks ago the road is still damaged and still open to another potential accident. Speeding can cause one to hit the dip and overcorrect and swerve into unsuspecting traffic and / or sidewalk in westbound lane. There is not even the white line there. Please install a guard rail before another accident occurs.

There is a large Huntsville Utilities electric box on the Stonemark subdivision common grounds near the Stonemark subdivision entrance, this is on the side of Mountain Gap Road close to Mathis Mountain Road, marked location of box on map. This box was a green color at one time but now there is a lot of white on it, not sure what all the white is but it looks terrible and is an eyesore for the Stonemark subdivision. Can Huntsville Utilities paint this box green again or replace it? Please see photo. Thank you!

This is the utility pole in front of my house. It has loose/untrimmed wires all over it, they hang onto the sidewalk. The wires that cross the road drop low enough for a truck to hit, and the pole leans very much.

There is a street light out on Mountain Gap Road without an address, it is the second street light from Mathis Mountain Road if you were going toward Memorial Parkway (it's between Crestfield Drive and Mathis Mountain Road).

The city grinds elevated portions of sidewalks, correct? This was done on Mountain Gap Road and needs to be done on Mathis Mountain Road off Mountain Gap Road. Would really appreciate if this could be done. Thank you so much.

During today’s rain the water coming off Mathis Mountain was so deep and swift it was dangerous to attempt to drive from Chickamauga east. The flow at the intersection of Mountain Gap and Mathis Mountain was so swift and wide I had to decide whether to let a tree fall on me or try to traverse the stream. The flow was full of mud, rocks, tree limbs, and debris. This doesn’t happen often but something needs to be done about drainage.

The ditch (Aldridge Creek) behind our house has trees that need to be trimmed and cut down and some have fallen in the ditch. Lots of kids use this ditch to travel to Mountain Gap elementary each day. Who can we get to clean and cut the trees and move the debris? Not sure how is suppose to cut the trees on the other side of out fence either, since we can't reach the area its at a very high slop. There's also some limbs on power lines on Royce cul-de-sac that need to be looked at too, please.

Several sidewalk trip hazards at 10104 Skylark Drive. See photo. Unlevel sidewalk panels were just recently ground on Mathis Mountain Road, it would be great of Skylark Drive could be done as well.

Black trash bag filled with trash on the shoulder of Mountain Gap Road, this was not put out for collection, it must have fallen out of a vehicle. It is in between Crestfield Drive and Mathis Mountain Road. There is also loose litter on the side of Mountain Gap Road between Crestfield Drive and Mathis Mountain Road.
