Build an amphitheater here with adequate power, lighting and restrooms for outdoor concerts. With the new mixed-use development across this street this could be a huge addition to downtown!

Construction work and associated noise began at 4:30am today on the new Redstone FCU. This happens before 7am on a regular basis, which is when I thought the noise ordinance officially allowed for it. The construction is right across the street from an apartment building.

A nice riverwalk from the hospital that would connect to big springs park.

Three police officers are diving wrecklessly with no lights or sirens. It was extremely unsafe to pedestrians attempting to cross the road.
  • 660 Gallatin Street Southwest Huntsville, Alabama - Huntsville

People are crossing the street from Huntsville Hospital to the west side of Gallatin to smoke. They may not be thinking clearly as they are visiting family members and friends, but they recklessly cross the street at night with no regard for using the crosswalk or red light. Tonight, I emergency stopped within 6 feet of two people wearing black clothes and crossing in the shadows.

PLEASE address this and put better lighting on the street. This is as dangerous as people crossing in the dark areas of west Governors Drive. Either or both will eventually produce fatalities if the city fails to properly light the busy crossing areas
    Thank you!

Six street lights at the intersection of Pelham and Dorothy Ford Lane are out and have been out for months now. I phoned Huntsville Utilities before Christmas and nothing has been done. This intersection is busy with pedestrians, shoppers, and commuters and poses a great liability risk for the city.

Ditch is overflow on Bailey cove and Tacoma trail
  • 440-498 Pelham Ave Sw Huntsville, AL, 35801, USA - Huntsville
Construction crew at the future RFCU site started up for the day at 3:00 am again, long before the city noise ordinance allows. There seems to be an ongoing cycle of inconsiderate start times, noise complaints from residents across the street, apologies from the construction company, a few weeks of decent sleep, then more inconsiderate start times... Is nothing being done to deter these pre-dawn crews?

The street lights on Joseph E Lowery are out
  • 310 Pelham Ave Sw Huntsville, AL 35801, USA - Huntsville
all the lights are out behind Publix and it's dark! but the safest parking for the elderly or others
  • 660 Gallatin St Sw Huntsville, AL 35801, USA - Huntsville
Great location for casual to upscale dining and or retail. Close to downtown and Big Spring Park.

The Stars are currently in a rundown stadium that is not convenient to nightlife. Build a new stadium here and bring the Stars downtown. You can have trollies running before and after the games so people could go have dinner before and a drink afterwards. It would also provide some much needed family activities downtown. Not to mention this would show the Southern League that we support our baseball team.
