    This wire fell down during a storm. United Illuminating came by and just wrapped it around the tree in front of the house. There are many kids who live on this street and residents are very worried that it poses an extreme danger to their safety.

    During the last two years we've seen an explosion of Amazon, FedEx, and UPS trucks coming through Elmwood Road as well as an increasing # of cars/trucks using it as a cut-through. In most of these situations, the vehicles are speeding. We have about 15 children under the age of 10 who live on this street. I am requesting 2 to 3 speed bumps in an effort to slow these vehicles down.

    This sidewalk block is being slowly pulled upward by the tree on the right side of the photo. We have many young children on our block who routinely trip while playing. Additionally, during the winter--snow, ice, etc--this becomes even more of a hazard.

    This tree split almost in half during a storm a few years ago. It was shaped like a "Y" and one arm split off and fell onto the electrical wires. Since that time several landscapers have recommended to me that this tree be removed because if it falls it will fall right onto my house. One of the bedrooms at the front of the house is my 2-year old daughter's room. We are extremely worried that the tree will fall into her room and we do not feel that is fair for us to feel unsafe in our own home.
