The State has confirmed they are planning to repair this fence. They did not provide a firm date. It will be repaired.

This issue was reported 361 days ago and has not been addressed by the State. Fencing continues to pose an issue to use of the parking space.

We will reach out to the DOT again.

Squeaky wheel: Please reach out to DOT again as the fence issue caused parking problems prior to the 2022 City of New Haven Memorial Day ceremony at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial this May. This issue has not been addressed.

Our staff contacted the State DOT to ask for a status update.

We followed up with DOT and they are not willing to repair the fence.

I visited the site last week and the fence has been repaired. Let's hope that the next time there is an issue with this lot that the DOT follows through in a timely manner. Thank you to LCI Citywide helper for your communications and willingness to communicate messages from the community.
