The issue was reviewed, and that;s great, but the Village of Great Neck Code Enforcer Officer does not review the property at all anymore. There are empty apartments that are being used as warehouses or storage centers instead of renting out the apartment. Building 800 apartments are being used as work areas with all types of saws, equipment, etc for building. They have also closed in parking spaces on north side garages as work areas. If they were to look into building 794 apt A2 they would find storage, all of building 800, 802 apt E2, building 804 apt F1, and the super have redesigned his apartment and the one across from in 812 (apts. K1 and K2). The storage rooms are locked up, and tenants have no place to use for storage. The front entrance doors should have locks because its 4 units, and anyone can just walk into each building.

Garages on north side of building have been converted to a workshop and storage for super with closing doors. The two were built without permit from Village. Super continues to use the entire building at 800 for his workshop. He builds desk,, chairs, tables, and other items that are picked up by a truck. He uses all of the empty apartments as storage area for outsiders. Major fire hazards in building 800 and all of the empty apartments.

This was first reported on 8/24/13, and the garage has not been replaced. I reported on 11/16/20 how the north of the building the super converted a workshop, and has put doors on two of the garages without permits.

The grounds of 794-812 Middle Neck Road are not maintained as they should be. On the south side near Steamboat Road there is a tree limb that fell years ago, and grass has been growing on it; because it has been on the ground that long There is a large pile of branches that have been down since the storm of a few years ago, plus branches added from last years storm. In the large parking area near Steamboat Road there is a motor home or something like one parked in the lot.

The lights should come on at night when you drive in the area to park, but it has been broken for years. The super has a light hanging from the upstairs window of an empty apartment in building 800 apartment D3 Speaking of empty apartments; they are empty not having people live in them, but they bring truck loads of tiles, bar stools, bar tables, all types of furniture, parts of a fence, machines, and who knows what danger is being stored in 16 empty apartments (building 800 is a workshop with all types of material in 4 of the 16 empty apartments).

There are later issues with the garages, and they were reported on 02/15/2021. Issue date of 2013 has not been taken care of as of 3/16/2021.
