Attention all you a-holes who are so in looooove with blowing off fireworks. Fireworks are ONLY acceptable from July 3rd through July 13th. Then is is time to put them away and light the rest of them on Labor Day. Anything else is just trashy hillbilly behavior .

We all love a good M-80 tossed in a trash can, but night after night is overkill and becomes boring, not to mention annoying for those of us who happen to be light sleepers with PTSD

Glad to see people agree. Trust me, it's not fun watching a 150lb Mastiff making an attempt to fit under a bed. Plus, the fireworks are illegal, and it seems that the Amherst police ignore the fact that they are illegal!! Do what North Ridgeville is doing, and fine the people for breaking the law!

Fireworks are fun all year long!! Let people have fun and do be so angry and jealous just cause someone else is having fun. It is very close to calling something hillbillyish a racist remark. Do you have a problem with hillbillies?? I think the complainers are the problem. Let the ppl have their fun and mind your own business. Amherst police have more important things to do than to answer your annoying calls about some noise in your neighborhood. It should be a clue to you that if the police are not responding it is not very a very credible or important complaint. SO KEEP BLOWING OFF THE FIREWORKS. Where exactly are you located I will come over and watch and have fun with you.
