Every time it rains, it's really bad trying to pass through.... Wish the town of North Haledon would do something about this road.

The Borough of North Haledon has received $400,000 as a NJDOT grant to pave Ahnert Road. A pre-construction meeting was held on Tuesday, October 2nd; work will begin shortly. Curbs will be installed on the entire length; drainage issues will be resolved, and the road will be milled and paved. Lawns will be restored on all the areas with new curbs. Notices were sent to all homeowners on Ahnert Road two years ago inviting them to attend a Council Meeting to discuss the rehabilitation of Ahnert Road; many homeowners attended the meeting and the Borough took their input into consideration during the design phase. Notices will also be sent out before the construction work begins, and if there are any concerns before, during or after the job is completed, you can contact me.
