This light WAS set to only turn red when 1) someone hit the crosswalk button or 2) an approaching car stopped on Lakeside to activate the signal.
Last week, a truck was out fixing a burned out bulb on this light. Since then, the light now changes when no traffic is on Lakeside. I find it slows down traffic but come on, at 11pm at night, there is no need for us on Montcalm to have to wait 5 minutes for a light to change for NO ONE TURNING!
