A warehouse located next to 326 North 9th street Philadelphia Pa 19107 will leave their company truck idle everyday in the morning from 6am - 12pm. Occasionally the truck will return and stay idle from 1pm-4pm or late at night from 9pm-12am. Duration time of idling can vary each time. Residents have reported to police 911 and filed a claim for idling issue. However there has been no change since the last report. Owner of the warehouse is aware of the issue but refused to turn off the truck for their convenience to load items on/off the truck.

If a bus, large commercial truck or construction equipment is observed to be running its engine while stationary, please contact the Air Management Services Unit at 215-685-7580.
All other vehicles, (cars, pickup trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc.), please report them to the Police Department at 911. Thank you. (mb)

The Clean Air Council has taken note of these idling vehicles. We are gathering data to report idling hot spots to Air Management Services which allows for targeted enforcement. Your report was very detailed, which helps us gather accurate data.
The only other information that would be good is the name of the warehouse and/or truck company.
