Yeah no worries, @robn. Thanks for taking the time to report this important illegal dumping issue. I just happened to see the other posting, too. Speaking of which...dear @BenBerkowitz and the See Click Fix team: I've been requesting just such a duplicate-issue reporting feature on the user end for a LONG time. Years in fact. Can we please get an update on that feature request. It's a feature that's really lacking in the current user-end experience. This issue is a perfect example.
@robrocke,
The SCF map UI seems to hide issue thumbtacks depending upon the users neighbood affiliation, but to be honest, I find it a little confusing. With love and respect to SCF, I often open up a map and wonder where all of the thumbtacks went. I think the map UI needs to be streamlined, showing all issues as a default and then allowing users clearly accessible filters to distill the map down to whatever they may e looking for.
Thanks. I don't know if that is an old UI view methodology that I just couldn't get into before but I do like its simplicity. Couple of criticisms.
1) Wish the map filled a bigger percentage of the page.
2) Wish I could scrollzoom.
3) I'm on a relatively high speed line but the thumbtack refresh takes a good 5 seconds.
