Mô tả

When the Southbound exit ramp at 8A was repaved and restriped recently, it created a wider shoulder that gives the appearance of a right turning lane. I have twice in the past week had vehicles squeezing their way up the shoulder, passing several cars waiting to turn left, and then encountering me turning right from the actual lane as the light turns green. In both cases the other cars nearly hit me broadside. It might be suggested that DOT place signs on the exit ramp advising drivers that the shoulder is not to be used for passing, like the signs I have seen at other intersections where the shoulder is incorrectly used as a right turning lane. Diagonal stripes on the shoulder may also be necessary.
