Trimming has finally begun, nearly 1 year later. Work began yesterday, Wednesday, September 18 and is continuing thru today, Thursday, September 19.
Question: Exactly how much is to be removed from tree tree in this process? To me this seems a bit excessive (reference photo attached), and removes our families - and our neighbors natural air filter from the close and highly used street in front of our homes. Yes, we're happy this matter is finally being attended to, but exactly how much of a tree is to be trimmed? Are there published guidelines somewhere accessible to the public?
Our son already has asthma - I'd hate to see it get worse.

First, apologies for posting the previous comment twice.
Second, it appears that all that was done was to raise the tree line. Absolutely nothing was done regarding the limbs on/around the power lines. As a matter of fact, they removed all limbs below that level.
We're absolutely elated that we now have such an amazing view of Science Park, the soon to come Winchester Lofts, and the parking lots. **Note the sarcasm.
