I have lived on 45th between Shafter and Lawton since 2007. This stretch of 45th is too wide and too fast for our residential neighborhood. We really need a speed bump or some other traffic calming measure on this block.

This block of 45th (between Shafter and Lawton) has a school (Emerson) across the street, the Temescal Pool, Studio One Arts Center, and 3 other schools within 2 blocks, not to mention the fact that young children live in just about every house on this block. Traffic speeds are very high and I've seen collisions and many near-misses occur on this block.

Please help us get a speed bump or other traffic calming measure on our block.
