There is a painted crosswalk on Thomas Ave. that cars routinely speed through without slowing for pedestrians. School buses let children off at this intersection and I have seen several near-hits from cars that ignore the crosswalk. There are crosswalk signs on Thomas, but they are too far from the intersection and are covered by trees. Signs need to be closer to the crosswalk and crosswalk needs to be repainted to make it more visible.
