Throughout the Hollybrook community, a lighting update was made. They used existing features which previously used amber incandescent bulbs, and updated to white led lighting. This lighting is much brighter, so much so it looks to be commercial warehouse lighting. No city permit was pulled to update hundreds of light fixtures, which meets the definition of needing an electrical permit. The project is still ongoing to replace even more lights. No study was conducted. Even though the existing electrical locations were used, an engineering lighting study was not done to ensure that the replacement lighting does not exceed the acceptable lumens. The residential common areas are way too bright. This is a natural wildlife area, with many ponds that serve as a natural habitat. This lighting is so bright, the wildlife should have been taken into account when installing it.

My neighbor (931 SW 178th Way) is constructing an illegal fire pit on the exterior wall of my house. This is a fire hazard to my property and need for it to be investigated immediately. There is no adequate setback between my exterior wall and the fire pit.
